Dr Antonia Harrison, Chartered Psychologist
Chartered with the British Psychological Society (BPS), and registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) as a 'Practitioner Psychologist', Dr Harrison is our Therapies Lead, and our Autism Assessment Lead.
Until 2020, in addition to her role at 'A Forward Step', she worked as a Psychologist for an NHS outpatient service in Bedfordshire. She was based in a Neurodevelopmental Team in a Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). Historically, she has also worked in mental health services with adult female and adult male patients. Dr Harrison has worked in hospital inpatient services, HM prison service, and in other community settings. Her clients have been individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Learning Disability, Personality Disorders and mental health illnesses. Dr Harrison has a wealth of experience working in a diagnostic capacity, assessing a client's difficulties and providing clinical diagnoses where appropriate.
Dr Harrison's qualifications include a Doctorate, a Master of Science (MSc) in Cognitive Neuropsychology, an MSc in Forensic Psychology, an MSc in Healthcare Management, and a Batchelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology.

Dr Paul Farrington, Chartered Psychologist
Chartered with the British Psychological Society (BPS), and registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) as a 'Practitioner Psychologist', Dr Farrington is our Forensic Lead, however he provides services under all four categories of provision at 'A Forward Step'.
Dr Farrington has worked in hospital inpatient services, HM prison service, and community settings with a wide breadth of patients; adolescents, adults with learning difficulties, Personality Disorders and mental health illnesses, and parents involved in childcare-related court proceedings. In addition to his role at 'A Forward Step', he worked as a Psychologist at a psychiatric hospital in Buckinghamshire until April 2022. This role involved the assessment and treatment of men with acute mental illness, substance misuse, and/or offending histories. Since April 2022, he has worked with 'A Forward Step' full time.
Dr Farrington's qualifications include a Doctorate, a Master of Science (MSc) in Forensic Psychology, and a Batchelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology.
